Do you have questions about ASTA Global Live? See below for a few frequently asked questions by our attendees.

Q: When/Where is ASTA Global Live taking place?
Given the importance of the health and well-being of our members, partners and staff, we have decided to transition ASTA Global Convention 2020 to be a virtual online experience. “ASTA Global Live” will take place on August 25-28, 2020. Please note ASTA Small Business Network Days will be held on August 27th and 28th.

Q: I already registered for the in-person ASTA Global Convention event. What do I need to do?
If you registered prior to June 11, 2020 for our originally planned in-person ASTA Global Convention, please click here.

Q: What's included in my registration for ASTA Global Live?
Your ASTA Global Live registration includes the following: 
  • Access to more than 30 hours of educational content catered for your needs.
  • Enhanced digital networking opportunities
  • Access to our virtual trade experience and B2B appointment sessions to meet with suppliers
  • On-demand content so you can go back and view AFTER our virtual time together

  Q: I'm not too familiar with the technology needed to enjoy a virtual experience. What can I do?

We encourage you to still register! ASTA staff will be fully trained and available to walk you through the process to ensure an enjoyable experience. We also plan to host training sessions for our attendees, so you feel prepared to enjoy the full benefits of our virtual program.

Q: Will there be networking?
Yes!, You will have the chance to connect with colleagues and peers, suppliers, and key travel industry influencers throughout the week lots of opportunities to win prizes, prizes and more prizes!
 
Q: I'd like to receive the content from ASTA Global Live, but I won't be able to attend "live" during August 25-28. What can I do?
We encourage you to register still! Our content will be available for review after the August 25-28 for those registered.
 
Q: My company wants to exhibit. Where do I find more details?

Q: Where will ASTA Global Convention 2021 take place?
Our 2021 in-person event will take place at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in Chicago, IL from August 22-25!

Information for those who registered before June 11, 2020
 
Q: I registered for the in-person ASTA Global Convention event. What do I need to do?
We sent an email communication to all of those registered for our initially planned scheduled in-person ASTA Global Convention after our announcement on June 11, 2020. Those who were registered will be offered the below options and are asked to click here to select the following:
  1. Transfer your existing registration to ASTA Global Live.
  2. a. If you choose this option, you will only be charged the new pricing of the virtual event. We are allowing you to decide where the difference in your balance goes.
  3. Receive a full refund and not attend ASTA Global Live.
  4. If we do not hear from you with your selection by July 10th, we will automatically register for ASTA Global Live and refund you the difference in pricing.
Please Note: You will need to sign into the Attendee Service Center to select your choice. Your username and password can be found in your confirmation email from ASTA Global Convention.

Q: What if I cancelled my registration before ASTA announced moving virtual and I was charged a cancellation fee? Will I be refunded the cancellation fee?
 
No. ASTA is honoring the cancellation policy that was in place at the time you canceled your registration. See below for the cancellation policy that was set forth for our initially in-person event.
 
For Cancellations Received:

On/Before January 31, 2020: Full refund less $25.00 per person-
February 1 - May 1, 2020: 50% of full registration fee refunded per person
On/After May 1, 2020: No refund
Registration Transfer: $25.00
 
Q: I recieved a scholarship. What should I do?

Q: What should I do if I reserved a hotel room?

If you've registered for ASTA Global Convention and reserved a room at the Washington Hilton, your reservation has been automatically cancelled. You will receive a cancellation email from the property directly. Please allow up to 60 days for a full refund or any deposits made on your reservation to your original form of payment.

If you made reservations at another property, you must cancel with the property directly, and you may be subject to fees from that property.
  
Q: I have already made my travel arrangements. What do I do about these tickets or fees?
 
Please refer to the airline carrier and/or train ticket policies regarding any cancellation fees associated with your flight. ASTA is not responsible, nor can we inter-or supersede any policies or practices of transportation authorities.
