|Megan Cruz - Executive Director, US Travel Insurance Association|
Megan Cruz is the executive director of the US Travel Insurance Association. In her role, she reports to UStiA’s board of directors, acts as the spokesperson for the association, and directs the work of the association’s staff team. Megan and her team also work closely with UStiA’s dedicated volunteer committees, who play instrumental roles in initiatives such as UStiA’s regulatory efforts, communications, and conferences.
Megan’s association management experience includes roles as executive director of the American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds and the Federal Judges Association. She also served as an international program director for the American Society of Association Executives, building communities inside and outside the US and representing ASAE worldwide. Megan spent time in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor and still teaches weekly classes.
Megan grew up in Houston, Texas, and received her bachelor of science degree from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. She and her husband live in Washington, DC.
